The competition will be known as the ECB National Club t20 from summer 2012 onwards.

Defending champions are Ealing, who beat Chester-le Street by 10 wickets in the 2011 Final at Essex County Cricket Club. Both teams came through their semi finals beating St Just and Hyde respectively to reach the floodlit final.
